The company was an early Internet pioneer when Jasons Travel Channelâ„¢ (
www.jasons.com) was launched in mid 1996. This has since grown to be one of the region's largest and most active travel websites. With over 26,000 detailed listings on tourism operators, Jasons Travel Channelâ„¢ also provides detailed statistical reporting, secure enquiry/booking functionality and online update options.
A re-launch of www.jasons.com was carried out in early August 2007. See What's New for more information about the enhancements to the website.
Print

A travel publisher since 1967, Jasons Travel Media produces 68 publications aimed at the FIT (free and independent traveller) market segment. Most of these titles have seen significant circulation increases in the last few years based on product improvements and major private label deals with travel industry partners. 13 new print guides were developed in the past years, including:
Encounter Activities Directory,
Selections Bed & Breakfast and the
Classic NZ Wine Trail Map.
AustraliaJasons has been an established part of travel publishing in Australia for over 23 years when its first Australian accommodation directory for Queensland & the Northern Territory was launched. In 1999/2000
Jasons Tasmania Accommodation Directory was a well-received addition, as were the three recently introduced RoutePlanners covering Tropical North Queensland, Central Queensland and Sunshine, Fraser & Coral Coasts. Jasons has built on its reputation as a key resource for the travel trade.
New Zealand
Three core New Zealand accommodation guides have been major parts of their industry sectors for many years:
Jasons Motels Apartments & Motor Lodges Directory,
Jasons Holiday Parks & Campgrounds Directory and
Jasons Business Traveller Directory. Recognising the opportunities presented by the growing FIT segment, Jasons continues to support a range of regional RoutePlanners. These visitor activity maps provide details on local activities, attractions and points of interest on major tourist routes. Catering to both the domestic and international visitor markets,
Jasons What's On visitor guides for the Auckland and Wellington areas feature upcoming events, cultural details, activities, detailed maps, restaurants and accommodation. The
Encounter Activities Directory was created to provide travellers with New Zealand's best leisure and adventure experiences, and Jasons has also recently purchased the
Queenstown Visitor Guide and
Queenstown Dining Guide which will offer traveller information for the adventure capital of New Zealand.
South PacificDestination-specific visitor activity maps are produced for Niue, Norfolk Island, New Caledonia/Noumea, the Cook Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji Islands, Papua New Guinea and Samoa.
